A place where the air is scented with flowers
The desire to experiment and to test was instrumental in the formation of these works. An experiment whose outcome was intended to be an understanding of several phenomena, and an experience that would preserve a memory. For me, understanding my surrounding environment is inseparable from the elements and objects that inhabit it, and representing these elements and spaces helps me arrive at a deeper understanding of them. In order to gain a more precise understanding and a richer exploration, I decided to limit my subjects. I began with the flowers in my home, which revealed themselves under the light. Gradually, step by step, I introduced other objects as my subjects as well. I was continually astonished by the effect of light. The reciprocal influences that space, flowers, and light exerted upon one another fascinated me. I placed the flowers where they would receive direct daylight. I sat facing them, observing them for hours. I propagated them through cuttings, planted them, and pruned them. Beyond their objective reality, I became engaged with their existential reality—a reality that grew, multiplied, sprouted, blossomed, withered, and at times died. I was able to witness, feel, and comprehend all of these transformations. Together, they all took part in the formation and construction of meaning for me. As the objects acquired meaning, that meaning extended to the space surrounding them—a place that was slowly becoming meaningful; a place where the flowers made the air pleasant.

جایی که گلها هوا را مطبوع میکنند
میل به تجربه کردن و آزمودن در شکلگیری این آثار مؤثر بود. آزمودنی که قرار بود ماحصلش درکی از چند پدیده باشد و تجربهای که خاطرهای را ثبت کند. برای من شناخت محیط اطرافم به عناصر و اشیا آن مکان وابسته است و بازنمایی این عناصر و فضاها به درک بهتری از آنها کمک میکند. برای فهم دقیقتر و مکاشفه بهتر تصمیم گرفتم ابژههایم را محدود کنم. این مسئله را با گلهای خانه که با تابش نور ظاهر میشدند آغاز کردم. به مرور و قدم به قدم ابژههای دیگری را هم سوژهی خود قرار دادم. از تاثیر نور شگفت زده میشدم. تاثیرات متقابلی که فضا، گل و نور بر یکدیگر داشتند برایم جالب بود. گلها را در مکانی قرار میدادم که نور مستقیم روز به آنها بتابد. روبرویشان مینشستم و ساعتها به آنها دقت میکردم. آنها را قلمه میزدم، میکاشتم و هَرَس میکردم. جدا از واقعیتی عینی با واقعیت وجودی آنها درگیر میشدم. واقعیتی که رشد میکرد، تکثیر میشد، جوانه میزد، گل میداد، پژمرده میشد و گاهی میمُرد. تمامی این تغییرات را میتوانستم ببینم، احساس کنم و درک کنم. همه آنها با یکدیگر برایم در شکلگیری و ساختن معنایی سهیم بودند. معنادار شدن ابژهها به مکان اطرافشان سرایت کرد. جایی که به آهستگی معنادار میشد!جایی که گلها هوا رامطبوع میکردند. ف۵
